The Nursing Professional Development Exam Cram will provide the learner with the foundational review materials required to take and pass the certification test. The class describes the template of the NPD professional and covers core materials, such as education, adult learning and change theory, legal considerations and methodology.
Who is eligible to take this exam? All requirements must be completed prior to application for the examination.
• Hold a current, active RN license within a state or territory of the United States or the professional, legally recognized equivalent in another country.
• Hold a bachelor’s or higher degree in nursing.
• Have practiced the equivalent of two years full-time as a registered nurse.
• Have a minimum of 2,000 hours of clinical practice in nursing professional development within the last three years.
• Have completed 30 hours of continuing education in nursing professional development within the last three years.

Kevin is a highly experienced emergency nurse with over 15 years of experience in nursing education and leadership. He has extensive experience in pediatric and adult emergency as well as trauma care and has managed various programs both in and out of the hospital setting. Currently, Kevin serves as an administrator on duty for a community hospital in El Paso, TX.
With a strong passion for continuing education and sharing knowledge, Kevin is dedicated to the advancement of the nursing profession. Kevin is an active member of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) at both the state and national levels. He was recently recognized for his contributions to emergency nursing education and community building and was inducted into the prestigious Academy of Emergency Nursing (AEN).
Kevin is an engaging speaker and presenter, and he regularly shares his insights as a speaker at conferences around the world.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received by email, in writing or by phone up to 14 days prior to the seminar will receive a full refund. A 10% processing fee will be charged for refunds requested less than 14 days prior to the seminar. If applicable, the cancellation fee may be waived for tuition transferred to another seminar or if applied to Self-Study products. In the rare event that MED-ED must cancel, MED-ED’s liability is limited to tuition.
