This three-day course is designed to provide critical care and progressive care nurses with a review of AACN’s core cur-riculum. The course combines central knowledge-based lectures so that nurses working in the PCU and ICU arenas will have a review of AACN’s certification blueprint. The first day will provide the critical care provider with an essential re-view of nursing care and interventions designed for the ICU setting. The second day will combine both the critical care and the progressive care areas. Information essential to each will be presented in a combined method still complying with AACN’s certification blueprint. The third day is specifically for the progressive care provider and completes AACN’s blueprint for system review. This review is not an introduction to the environment of the ICU or PCU, but a comprehensive update for the professional already in practice at the bedside and is preparing for the certification examinations.

In addition to lecturing across the globe, Cammy is a reviewer for several revered nursing journals, has numerous publications in the area of critical care and continues to have an active practice as an acute care nurse practitioner at the University of Florida, Division of Critical Care Medicine, Cardiothoracic Surgery. As a critical care nurse practitioner, Cammy brings many clinical practice skills to her lectures as well providing clinical pearls for bedside care.

The Day Of
Sign-in begins at 7:30 am. The day includes a one-hour lunch (on your own), as well as a morning and afternoon break of 15 minutes each. The order of lectures presented and break times may vary according to speaker preference.

Walk-In Fee
As long as space is available, you can register the day of the seminar with an additional walk-in fee of $15. Please note that only cash, money orders, credit cards and hospital checks are accepted at the door. Personal checks are not accepted.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received in writing or by phone up to 14 days prior to the seminar will receive a Full Refund. A 10% processing fee will be charged for refunds requested less than 14 days prior to the seminar. Cancellation fee will be waived for tuition transferred to another seminar or if applied to Self-Study products. In the rare event that MED-ED must cancel, MED-ED’s liability is limited to tuition.
