She has worked as an independent case manager, case management consultant and trainer for the past 26 years, working nationally for both payers and providers. She is on the editorial board of Professional Case Management and has served as an expert for legal cases alleging case manager malpractice. In 1995, she was the recipient of CMSA’s Case Manager of the Year award. Sandi served on the CMSA Board for nine years and was the 2000–2001 President.
