This course is designed for perioperative nurses who want to be successful in passing the CNOR Certification Exam. The course content will review each section of the exam blueprint provided by CCI® while highlighting AORN® Guidelines that pertain to the topics and various patient populations. The participant will also create a study plan and review test-taking strategies. The course is interactive, allowing time for participants to ask questions and completing practice tests.

Sherrie has been a perioperative nurse for nearly 25 years, serving in many roles, including as a scrub and circulating nurse for various services and as a leader/coordinator for urology, gynecology and the robotic team. She also served as a charge nurse and the perioperative educator for a team of more than 130 members and as a clinical manager for a 43-bed medical-surgical unit. Currently, Sherrie serves as a clinical manager for an ambulatory surgery unit.
In addition to these roles, she served as the patient safety and accreditation coordinator for a three-hospital healthcare system, adding a unique regulatory perspective for learners. Sherrie has a passion for lifelong learning in her pursuit of sharing knowledge and willingness to assist every learner in his or her quest to make a difference in the lives of those entrusted in our care.

The Day Of
Sign-in begins at 7:30 am. The day includes a one-hour lunch (on your own), as well as a morning and afternoon break of 15 minutes each. The order of lectures presented and break times may vary according to speaker preference.
