This course teaches critical 12-Lead ECG skills, but the real value is that nurses can make a real difference in the care of their patients when they understand how to use the bedside monitor as an extension of the ECG. 12-Lead ECG con-cepts learned in this course can be applied to skilled monitoring at the bedside, allowing nurses to see changes in real time and alerting providers to issues requiring intervention.

Terry has nearly 30 years of experience in caring for the critically ill patient in various specialty areas that include cardiovascular medicine and surgery, neuro, pulmonary, renal and trauma care. In addition to teaching the CCRN Certification review course, he has provided continuing education classes on several topics that include 12-Lead interpretation, ABGs and ventilators, radiographic interpretation essentials, hemodynamics, Rapid Response teams, neurological and neurosurgical care. Terry is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) and the Association of Nursing Professional Development (ANPD). He is able to make the most difficult concepts easy to understand by the beginner as well as the advanced practitioner and is best known as a master clinician and dynamic speaker who uses humor and real-life situations to give his topics meaning and depth.
