This course will offer participants an opportunity to learn about generational diversity in the workplace. From discussing the different generations currently in the workforce to learning about communication styles, this course offers opportunity to reflect upon the way we treat those working alongside us and to embrace our generational differences.

Lisa Foster is the Nurse Educator/RN Program Coordinator for Atrium Health Pineville, a part of Atrium Health. She has been with the organization for twenty years.
Lisa obtained her RN Diploma from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winston Salem State University, and a master’s in nursing education and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Grand Canyon University. She is nationally board certified as a Nursing Professional Development Specialist and is a certified Crisis Prevention Instructor.
Lisa is adjunct faculty for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Queens University and Grand Canyon University.
In her spare time, she volunteers with the NCNA as a peer reviewer of contact hour applications for North Carolina. She is also active with Changed Choices, a ministry of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church that serves females living in incarceration, the Bereavement Ministry of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, Room in the Inn and the Children’s Attention Home of Rock Hill.
Lisa was recognized as one of the Great 100 NC Nurses in 2017.
