Caroline Ashman, MSN, RN, CMSRN
As the director of professional development for Eastside Medical Center near Atlanta, Caroline holds a master’s of science in nursing education from Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. 2015 marked her 30th year in the nursing profession. She is also certified as a medical-surgical nurse by MSNCB. Caroline has been presenting the Med-Surg Certification Review Course for almost 10 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, NJ, and her initial nursing education from the University of Wolverhampton, England. Caroline has worked in a variety of hospital settings, including as a clinical educator and a charge nurse, as well as a sales trainer and nurse advisor to the pharmaceutical industry. She moved to the U.S. in 1991 and is past chapter president of the Greater Atlanta Chapter of AMSN.
