Cynthia Webner, DNP, RN, CCNS, CCRN-CMC, CHFN
Cindy is an acute care clinical nurse specialist with over 35 years of critical care and cardiovascular experience in a wide variety of clinical practice settings from bedside to administration. She currently practices in the acute care setting, managing hospitalized medical cardiology patients. Her practice extends to managing patients in the advance heart failure clinic.
In addition to maintaining a part-time clinical practice, Cindy is co-author of the book Cardiovascular Nursing Practice: A Comprehensive Resource Manual and Study Guide for Clinical Nurses, now in its second edition. She received her MSN as an acute care CNS and her DNP from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. She is a past recipient of the Circle of Excellence award from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Cindy speaks nationally, presenting on cardiovascular, critical care and leadership topics. Her passion for clinical practice is evident in her presentations. Cindy hopes all her presentations help those attending feel as energized and empowered about their practice as she does.
