Eileen Butler, MSN, RN, CPHON, OCN, BMTCN


Employed in an academic healthcare system, Eileen has over 25 years of oncology nursing experience in all care settings: adult inpatient, stem-cell transplant and outpatient infusion suites. For the past 12 years as an oncology educator, she has lectured on safe administration of chemotherapy, biotherapy and immunological agents and their adverse effects. In addition, she has lectured on oncological emergencies and components of clinical trials and taught classes on all aspects of hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation. She also focuses on the psychosocial aspect of oncology care for patients and their caregivers, an essential component of oncology nursing education. She earned her BSN from Barry University, FL, and her MSN from the University of Miami, FL.
