Lorraine Harbold, MS, BSN, RN, RNC-NIC
Lorraine has extensive Level IV neonatal nursing experience in a major academic hospital caring for a diverse patient population, including extremely low birth weight patients, neonates with congenital heart disease, neonates with congenital anomalies requiring surgery, those experiencing neurological insults and those with genetic and/or metabolic syndromes. She developed a passion for teaching NICU nurses both the foundations of nursing practice and advanced concepts to improve their practice. This passion led her to obtain a Master of Science in Education degree with a focus on adult and continuing education from Johns Hopkins University. She also has extensive experience designing and teaching for NICU RN internship programs. Lorraine's ability to engage the audience by integrating critical clinical concepts with nursing assessments, interventions and evaluations makes her seminars a stimulating and worthwhile learning experience. Lorraine is a member of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN), the Academy of Neonatal Nursing (ANN) and the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD).
