Dr. Tabije-Ebuen is a faculty member at California State University, Channel Islands, who has worked in the acute care setting as a clinician, clinical educator and in various leadership roles (pediatrics, neonatal intensive care unit, medical/surgical, telemetry, progressive care unit and emergency department/critical care) for nearly 25 years combined.

She is a member of various professional organizations such as the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) and American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) as well as the Honor Society of Nursing and Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI). She completed her doctor in nursing practice at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ, where she studied and evaluated knowledge and attitudes regarding pain by healthcare providers working in the emergency and critical-care departments. Her vision is to ensure that healthcare providers are equipped with the knowledge and skills to enhance patient outcomes. With her belief that nurses and student nurses play a critical role in enhancing patient outcomes, Dr. Tabije-Ebuen continues to seek solutions in order to provide safe and quality care to patients and families as well as seeking to make a difference in the nursing profession.
