Sara Lapointe, MSN, BSN, RN, CNOR
Since 2002, Sara has served in various roles in the perioperative setting, including as a surgical technologist, clinical leader, clinical trainer, manager and clinical practice resource nurse. She is currently a clinical educator covering medical-surgical, perioperative and labor and delivery units at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Sara received her associate degree in nursing from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing. She earned her BSN at Roberts Wesleyan College and her MSN in nursing management and organizational leadership at American Sentinel University. Sara has held a CNOR designation since 2009. She is also a past president of the Greater Syracuse AORN chapter. Sara’s passion, experience and expertise are conveyed in her teaching and interactions with students, creating a safe and exciting learning environment.
