Virginia "Ginger" Kehn, MSN, RN, CCRN


Ginger has worked as a registered nurse for more than 30 years, including at the bedside as a staff nurse in the critical care setting for over 20 years. For the past 10 years, she has been a critical care nurse educator. Her clinical experience includes work in medical-surgical intensive critical care, PACU and cardiac rehabilitation.

Ginger attained her BSN and MSN from Excelsior College in Albany, NY. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She has maintained her CCRN for over 20 years and is a current member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). She has also been a long-standing member of the Upstate NY Critical Care Consortium.

Ginger teaches a variety of critical care topics, and her specialties are 12-Lead ECG interpretation and respiratory content. These topics include ABG interpretation, noninvasive BiPAP and mechanical ventilation. Ginger exhibits her passion for nursing through her lectures, in which she uses case scenarios to help apply the content to real life.
