Wendy Smith, MSN, RN, CCRN


Wendy is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, earning both her BSN and her MSN degrees as a nurse educator. She serves as a clinical instructor for Bloomsburg University as well as a nurse educator in the ICU at Evangelical Community Hospital, both in Pennsylvania. She has nearly 20 years of experience as a critical-care nurse and maintains her CCRN certification along with her AACN membership. Her critical-care experience includes a focus on medical and surgical complications, acute strokes and acute STEMIs. She is a BLS and ACLS instructor for the American Heart Association and teaches basic rhythm interpretation courses regularly. She assisted in providing education to hospital staff transitioning to a primary stroke center and beginning their cardiac catheterization lab. She also assists with simulation and mock codes.
