Beth Grace, MSN, APRN, NP-C, RN-BC
Beginning with the Shriners’ Burn Intensive Care Unit in 1987, Beth assisted as a team flight nurse in the transportation of children from all over the U.S. and Central America for treatment. She was an instructor in Advanced Burn Life Support and participated in education and safety awareness for the local community. After cross-training in the ER of a Level One Trauma Center in Houston, she moved on to Surgical ICU and the PACU. Beth has been a nurse manager, nurse educator, an ACLS Instructor and nurse advocate. Working in PACU, day surgery and endoscopy settings, she has developed processes for improving patient care, safety and outcomes. She currently works PRN in ER, Interventional Radiology and the ICU of a community hospital. Beth has collaborated with several anesthesiologists on a safe and efficient conscious sedation procedure now being used by local hospitals.
